The ginza and poisoning

Day 2; we visited a Japanese flea market and the shrine next to it.

Then headed on the ginza line to the imperial palace east gardens.

Then off to the famed ginza neighborhood. We had read of the great restaurants below Tokyo station, called "ramen st." Known to ramen lovers as a collection of the best ramen all huddled together in this basement row of restaurants. Alas, we were too "hangry" to wait in line and opted for an unremarkable restaurant on the "road". (Likely place of poisoning- see below). Although, when one would wait patiently in line for ramen, one orders through an atm like machine, so when you sit down in the restaurant, your steaming plate of ramen is sitting in front of you ready to be slurped up.

Next stop was the crazy shopping street, famed in the ginza with every high end store imaginable. We ate some chocolate and checked out camera shops and a shop Gwenyth Paltrow suggested on her blog; Akomeya.
We limped home after a busy, exciting day, only to wake up from our nap at 9pm with evidently an awful case of food poisoning. Adam was fine, I, on the other hand was not.
